Delicious, with lots of care for ingredients. The chicken and the lamb were excellent. Boogie, but still lowbrow in a Berkeley framework for what counts as lowbrow (where a sandwich is $13).

This place is one of my guilty pleasures. Everything is amazing, but the potato puffs are heavenly deep fried bites of cloud, and my Canadian boyfriend said this is the best poutine he has ever found

Gregoire's is a terrific hole-in-the-wall restaurant. Every meal I've had there is superb ... and their french fries are the best I've ever had. Distinctive cardboard boxes with B+W lining Mehr erfahren

Pain Perdu!! Absolutely delicious and the best I've had! Parfait is also spectacular. Went here nearly every day during my visit to the Bay Area.

If you like bitterballen you will probably like their potato puffs. The sandwich bread is very good. Disappointed with the lack of meat in my leg of lamb sandwich, but the chx sandwich is huge.

The fish and pork are consistently good options. Just had the Sautéed salmon with basil wrapped in brick leaf. What a creative delicious surprise! Excellent.

Make sure you get their signature potato puffs! Outdoor and limited seating, so it's good for a group of at most five.

You need to leave here with some kind of a potato side...either the puffs or fries. But everything on the menu is really good.
