Friendly staff, great location and a secure, clean room. For the price, it's basic, but to make SF affordable, you really can't ask for much more. Use this place if your travelling on a tight budget.
Bunny🌙September 17, 2012Well they accommodated us the next night and gave us a bigger room and 1 queen bed. since they messed up our reservation w/2 twin beds the night b 4 so that made me happy. Thank you.
Clean, secure, great location. For this price you really can't expect luxuries, but if you need a hotelroom just for sleeping and keeping your gear in, this is perfect. Remember to pack earplugs!

So call ahead to double check ur reservation.
May be small, but youre not here to spend time in the room! Walking distance to everything via muni. Great wau to visit SF!
Dustin LeeJuni 24, 2019The location is the only thing going for them. Small rooms and minimal amenities. Try to get a street facing room, not the interior facing ones. If you walk here, come north on Grant to avoid hills
This is not the Hilton. If you want to save money and have a safe clean place to stay this is it. Warning! at the top of a steep hill.
It's ok for the price. Ask for the diagonal room. It's awesome! Chinatown is fun too.
AllisonOktober 19, 2010small rooms, dated 10 channel televisions and no more than 4 people in the rickety elevator at once. BUT awesome Chinatown location for the price if you can sleep through all the street noise.
- If you are above 5'5" have fun trying to shower. I'm 5'9" and I can barely manage haha. The shower head is at eye level for me.
