The Vilnius Castle Museum was opened in 1960. An observation deck on the top of the tower is the best place from which to appreciate a magnificent panorama of Vilnius.

A must-visit while in Vilnius. Best season to go is late spring. It is a moderately exerting hike up the hill, but the view is absolutely worth it!

Башня значительно пострадала во время Второй мировой войны. В 1948—1960 годах башня была отреставрирована и приведена в порядок прилегающая территория.

Schon mehr als 5 Mal hier gewesen
The Vilnius Castle Museum was opened in 1960. An observation deck on the top of the tower is the best place from which to appreciate a magnificent panorama of Vilnius.

Тем кто любит виды и не любит высоко и долго карабкаться. При минимальных усилиях вы получите шикарную панораму города ну и повод для всяких селфи конечно)

Nice mini hike to the tower, you can take the electric cable cart if you feeling lazy. Nice view seeing Vilnius old town from one side and the new town from another.

Башня расположена на горе, с башни отличный вид на город, всего 78 ступенек по винтовой лестнице. Вход 5€.

If you visit the hill at night, you may suddenly find out that gate is locked. Don't know how this problem is resolved in general, but thin persons may squeeze through the bars or carefully climb over

Зимой оказалось сложнее спускаться,чем подниматься,но на крутых спусках есть перила. Вход в музей - 4€. Идти стоит,только если сильно замерзли. Хотя на крыше можно сделать более удачные кадры.

Я поднялась туда бесплатно и пешком. Башня не высоко, так что можно пройтись. Вид оо туда прекрасный! Видно весь старый и новый город, но мне не повезло с погодой, а в остальном было круто!)

For the stunning views of Vilnius, it's here, or the TV tower. Although the view from here is more picturesque... Vilnius is full of history. Here, it's more pre-USSR-oriented.

It's a bit of a hike, but you'll be rewarded by the view. 👌 If you don't like hiking up, take the funicular (€1-2)

Подъем на фуникулёре — 1€, спуск и подъем — 2€. Но там довольно небольшой подъем, можно и пешком пройтись. Особенно красиво в вечернее время, когда весь город подсвечен. Посещение башни — опционально.

From one side you have the new town of Vilnius and from the other the old town. It is a good point from which to see everything.

If you want to visit Vilnius, you should go there, at least for a walk. Take a ticket to visit the museum, interesting for the baltic way !

After they cut out all the trees on the mountain, this place became a true simbol of this town, if the weather is good give it a try!

За видами подниматься на башню не нужно. Стоит 5 евро, а ничего нового по сравнению с видом с холма не увидите.

Подняться можно пешком или на фуникулере. Принимают к оплате только наличные и местную валюту "литы" (2Lt в одну сторону, 3Lt в обе) Вход на саму башню стоит 5Lt.

Very nice view. Funicular ticket costs 1€ on both sides, you can buy two-side ticket at once.

Подниматься на гору - стоит. А вот на башню - нет. За отдельную платы вы посетите крышу башни где куча комаров и мошек, и скучнейший музей. Вид с горы потрясающий и без башни :)

Нельзя приехать в Вильнюс и не подняться на башню Гедемина ради лучших видов на старый и новый город. Не пользуйтесь подъёмником, идите сами, это проще, чем кажется!

Отличная панорама на старый город. Очень неудобный подъем. Опасно для людей с физическими особенностями, а в дождь или снег опасно вообще для всех.
