A small sandwich could easily feed two. I picked a mid-hard bread, but it was still very hard and all the filling was pushed out when I bit the sandwich. A good just a few minute walk from Pier 39.

Best place ever!! I work over a the school across of it, and I am there daily to get their veggie sandwich! The owner is awesome and know what I want.

I could eat their sandwiches everyday for the rest of my life. It’s that good. I would make a special trip even if it is way out of your way. We absolutely loved Freddie’s!

Great spot, gets crowded during lunch time. Can't go wrong with the half sandwich as the portions are pretty big.

It's all about the onion roll. Also a small is big enough for a meal - these sandwiches are big.

Whoa, the Italian combo on soft sourdough is the real deal. A large sandwich is easily two meals.

They should rename the "small" sandwich to "one sandwich" and the "large" to "two sandwiches". In other words, they're big sandwiches.
