Serious Eats: One of our favorite bakeries on the Upper West Side. Great baguettes, strong sandwiches, and sweets that go light on the sugar.

Felicia M: Get there early. Their just out of the oven, warm bagels are fantastic!

Stephen Yang: Stumptown coffee and delicious egg sandwiches (served until 3pm) on their better than average NY bagel.

Felicia M: It's a good neighborhood bagel shop. Often have deals for a dozen bagels, if you're so inclined.

Felicia M: Great atrium to sit with fantastic light from the huge windows. Always crowded.

Felicia M: Great independent coffee shop. Stocks croissant from Balthazar. The owner is a delight.

Felicia M: Absolutely enormous cookies. Buttery and delicious. Share with a friend so as to not spoil your dinner. Big fan of their walnut chocolate cookie.

Felicia M: Great spot for a late night cookie fix. My favorite branch of the insomnia cookies chain.
