Awesome food, must try. Love standing table atmosphere - a lot of energy. Connected to Lexington Market. For fans of the show The Wire, many scenes filmed in and around the market.

Its a walk from the harbor, but you can visit Edgar Allen Poe's grave site along the way. Come here for the crab cake, a contender in Travel Channel's "Best Sandwich in America"

Tried a jumbo lump and a backfin, both incredible crab cakes, but the backfin reminds me more of crackin crabs in childhood. Incredible spot in a classic environment (Lexington Market)

Delicious! - Best crab cake in Baltimore. Just be aware, it is not a sit down restaurant. They are located in Lexington Market....note the market is closed on Sundays

As a million people have noted previously, the jumbo lump crab cake is surreal, it's brilliant. I thought one wouldn't be enough, but it's sooooo rich and delicious!

These chunky crab cakes were the best I ever had; they looked like huge meatballs. The big lumps of crabmeat were held together by minimal amounts of condiments, and were deliciously sweet.

The lump crab cake is worth an earlier train from New York. And the oysters - often overlooked - are fat and super fresh.

Some of the best crab cake sandwiches, plus a raw oyster bar. Dozen raw oysters, add some lemon, horseradish, hot sauce, and wash it down with a Natty Boh!

Be careful when ordering the crabcakes be careful! make sure you get the "lump" (they have three different options). The "lump crabcake" is their award winner and definitely the best!

This place is a sad shadow of what it used to be. The Lexington Market is all but abandoned and the area is so depressed. $20 for a crab cake and a beer is unacceptable in a setting like this.
