Probably the best place to drink the Lion beer at supermarket prices. Nice meals as well, try the simple chic peas! And the chicken.
What a restaurant to begin our gastronomical adventure. Super well arranged jungle and an amazing choice of Sinhalese food. The price is good for a buffet, so go there with a big appetite.
Very good Sinhalese breakfast with good coffee. British style decoration. Friendly and supporting service guys. They kept our bags there with no problems.

Very good hotel and an awesome view to the sea which is used for breakfast (very nice pancakes). The room is well equipped and the hosts are very supportive. Maybe the best hotel but you pay for it.
Directly at the see, calm at night and with good rooms despite being a bit too warm. Good meals and a good breakfast super affordable.
In my top 3 Srilanka restaurants so far. Located in a calm beach we had a very tasty mixed fish grill and an amazing prawns dish with a one of the best sauces.
Great calm beach with no much tourists. Wilder and rocky seaside which makes swimm harder. Nice beach bars around. Ideal beach for celebrities!
Elephants quite close from your car, crocodiles, monkeys, peacocks and lot of more birds. I think the most fun is actually driving the Jeep :)
Good capuccino but the coffee itself could have been stronger. Hard to find a good italian/portuguese expresso around here anyways.
Very nice tapas with ingredients different than you are used to find it here. Calmer than in the center of Ella.
