Markus T. • Januar 18, 2016One of the newer memorials, but a definite "must-see". Located directly between the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial. Very scenic!
Kurt H. • März 13, 2016Beautiful view! A must to see in DC
Danielle J. • September 5, 2011Beautiful place to be during the summer nights. If you look directly across the Potomac River, where the Jefferson statue looks towards the water, you can see the White House directly across.
Nico P. • Februar 12, 2019This is a great memorial. It's definitely worth a visit (especially if you enjoy history) though it is pretty solemn.
Kye S. • Januar 30, 2010Incredibly impressive. What makes it even more special, the vets who are there, love to talk about their experience. To hear history first hand like that is incredible.
Dani C. • September 20, 2020Beautiful memorial! Your supposed to start by the statue of him as a boy and work your way to the other end. Frankly either way is fine. Just see it all.
David R. • April 7, 2010Call ahead and try to schedule a tour to go down the steps. Especially good if you get an experienced guide that can give you all the history. Better than just viewing from the top and taking elev!
Black Family Reunions • März 27, 2016This is an incredible monument to visit as a family. It helps to make the legacy of MLK more real for the younger children in your family.
Scott J. • April 5, 2021Really like the design of this memorial. Plantings along the top make it feel framed by nature, spaces to gather, meandering flow, inspirational quotes, space to gather.
Architect of the Capitol (AOC) • Juni 21, 2018The memorial to Ulysses S. Grant was dedicated in 1922. It is located in Union Square, west of the U.S. Capitol Building, by the Capitol Reflecting Pool. The bronze elements were restored in 2016.
Michael • April 28, 2012Nice memorial to sit and enjoy the garden. Completely empty and forgotten though that also means its idyllic and somewhat peaceful.
M Squared Real Estate • August 20, 2011The statue's base is surrounded by three statues of a student, a warrior, and a statesman, representing his distinguished academic, military, and political careers.
Ben F. • September 7, 2013Golf course, mini-golf, a restaurant, a pool, plenty of green space, breeze off the river and a very nice secluded loop to bike, jog or just relax.
DC Preservation League • July 27, 2011Constructed between 1879-1881 by architects Cluss & Schulze, it was built to house the international exhibits left over from the Philadephia Continennial Exhibition of 1876.
M Squared Real Estate • August 15, 2011The park features many of Washington's famous cherry trees, has terrific views of the city and is a popular place for biking, running, fishing and picnicking.
Jessica N. • August 17, 2011Over 6,000 annuals are planted each spring and bloom until late fall. After blooming the flowers are removed & the beds are prepared for planting a display of tulips, which bloom the following spring.
Erik M. • August 31, 2011Tourists can eat in the main cafe but beware, it is a bit more expensive than nearby places.
