i like the taro balls and sweet potatoes balls in red bean soup, they are chewy and yummy. Window seats are always full when it is good weather.

Favorite night market for food. Get ready to fight the crowd down the narrow walkway of food vendors. Get the deep fried taro with egg yolk! Long line but worth the wait.
The 鹽酥雞 next to 魏姐 is super good!! And so is the sausage place next to it!! Recommend the garlic flavor sausage :))
Small but nice night market. I recommend the old lady selling congyoubing (green onion pancake) with egg & cheese (35Ntd).The fried, white chunky mushrooms are also divine, sold by an old man (50Ntd).

A really good spot to try lots of local food. Cheap. Try the pig's blood cake. It's surprisingly nice!
Must try Almond Tofu dessert. This Rich, gentle, and slight sweet almond dessert is fantastic after meal.

Get the red bean xiao long bao. So yummy. The bean thread spicy noodles was yummy also. Shrimp soup dumplings were delicious. Yum.
Visit the sushi bar during off peak hours to avoid the wait. The deluxe sushi set is fantastic value for money. Only NTD600 for super fresh, high quality fish. 🍣

Pros: nice atmosphere, plenty of outlets, good coffee, delicious cheesecake, no time limit. Cons: Wifi is really spotty, gets noisy so not necessarily great for working. Overall a pretty nice cafe.
Nice cafe to chat or work. Cakes are good. Try the banana cake and lemon cake. Lakulaku special coffee is good and not too sweet. Free Wi-Fi. Prices are average for Taipei.

Very modern cafe with a lot of great speciality coffee offerings. They roast very light; one of my coffees was a bit off, but all were delicious. They have a Steampunk and other lovely machines.
Nice dumplings. Amazing ones. Definitely the best are ones with pork and shrimps. Even they are not allowed for people with allergy to seafood and pork
This is a must try in taipei. Their braised pork rice and stew pork. One bite it melts in your mouth
I really liked this place. My wife and I opted to sit outside facing in and had a great time. The staff were really nice, gave pre-samples and I really enjoyed the selection of craft beers.
Get the beef noodle, wide noodles. The orange condiments are spiced lard, green ones are pickled mustard greens and the red one is chili oil. There's also two types of vinegars, try experimenting.
Excellent omakase. Good value for what you got there. Definitely one of my favourite sushi place in Taipei.
Great coffee and cakes here. Affogato was excellent as was their cheesecake. Beware there is a cat here so take care if you are allergic!
Fantastic cocktails, from classics to their own signatures. The misutini served in a miso-soup bowl is not to be missed.
Very good Taiwanese spicy hotpot ... for those who aspire to the gold standard of Chongqing hotpot, this is a good start - a sweet aftertaste typical of Taiwan-style spicy. Very fresh, great service

Tender beef, al dente noodles, medicinal (in a good way) soup, and good value (NT$160 for a small bowl). Bring your bowl to the back for a free soup refill!
Hash brown pancake and their chili sauce is good. I didn't like house special and the milk tea.. Too diluted.. Wouldn't come back this place again
The ice cream burrito with shaved peanuts, cilantro and ice cream is awesome. Sounds like a strange combo but pretty perfect
