One of the last great bars on the upper west side. Have a large group? You can't beat the seating in the back, with pitchers.

Inside hasn't changed since the Mad Men era. In fact, it's mentioned on Mad Men. Top notch Guinness.

Tucked away inconspicuously on 79th st this place is quite chill .. felt like I was on Cheers. Not your typical NYC plc and unlike Jake's etc nearby.. Tip? smithicks specials on weeknites

So nice, I've left a tip twice: the Guinness is an imperial pint, not that skimpy sh!t most US bars serve.

Good, old-fashioned Irish bar. Doesn’t serve food so you can concentrate on enjoying a nice beer.

Great staff. Not a sports bar but they usually have the game on on the few TVs. I've never seen them closed.
