1 order of churros or porras /person should be enough (quite filling with the thick hot chocolate). I prefer the churros but the porras are still worth trying! Great authentic yet touristic place!

This place is widely advertised, but don't think it's just a marketing trick: churros and chocolate are truly the best here. The walls of chocolateria picture many famous guests.

6 pack of churros and chocolate is 3.80, place is open 24 hours and running since 1894. Must see and taste while you're in Madrid!!!

The best churros you’ll ever have! One portion is big enough for too people. It can get really crowded during peak times.

Parada obligatoria. Hay cola siempre. Esta abierta las 24hs, los mejores horarios son de madrugada, pero bueno ir tempranito si desean desayunar. Servicio rapidísimo.

If you have a sweet tooth, this won’t satisfy it! Churros are not even a little bit sweet. I would recommend the Chocolateria 1902 or other less crowded places to go.

Order from their takeaway sweet shop on the other side of the street - it has a shorter line - and then take them to eat on a bench in Plaza Mayor.

There is a take away by the side where lines are normally shorter, only problem is they have no porras which are my preferred choice to churros. Chocolate is amazing

it's amazing how a legendary name of the place can trick you into a not so great affair. churros were more than fine but a thin chocolate resembling more of a bad cocoa drink ruined all the experience

It’s a well working concept, charming in many ways. Timing is everything, on a weekend there may be a hundred people waiting in line. Much easier on a weekday. Avoid at all cost if you’re on a diet ;)

Fundada en 1894. Su fama empieza cuando la gente salía del Teatro Eslava (Hoy discoteca) a tomar chocolate con churro. En 2010 se inauguraron una chocolatería en Tokio expandiendo la tradición.
