We really enjoyed the flavors and atmosphere of this quaint shop. I personally love the pineapple.
This is my favorite resort near Disney so far. We have tried several over the years. Ignore the up sell meetings and stick with what you can afford. Great rooms and many on-site amenities.

The fort is a great place to tour. Driving into the fort is a neat experience.

Lots of great stuff for way cheaper than other stores in the area. Beach and pool toys especially.
Don't get discouraged if the terminal looks backed up. Some of the ferry's can carry 30+ cars.

I highly recommend the folks at Island Carts. Very easy to deal with and $35 will get you a 2 hour tour of the island that is well worth it.
It costs nothing to ride the ferry to Okracoke from Hatteras. It is a pleasent voyage and a great experience. One on the island I highly recommend renting a golf cart.
This is one of the more reasonable places to eat seafood in the obx. The Captain's platter is a great meal for $25 and is the most expensive item on the menu.
