Kappy: Best po-boys in the Quarter. I like the Fried Oyster. Right next to Napoleon House.
Kappy: One of the oldest bars in the country. Walls plastered with old newspapers. ABSINTHE MESS YOU UP.
Kappy: Come here for the baked oysters. Nothing else. But, baked oysters. For real. But they did give me di-di, so that's something else to think about.
Kappy: If we do a group breakfast/brunch, this is a perfect spot. Cafeteria style cajun breakfast. Hella good. Won't have to worry about dividing the check.
Kappy: Just kind of a square in the French Quarter. Lot of local artists and freaks selling their wares. Has that iconic Cathedral there, too, tho.
Kappy: Another "oldest bar in the country" but have a mean piano night some nights.
Kappy: Built for Napoleon when he was exiled from France. Now it has a kewt courtyard and they serve really good Pimm's cups. Small, so would have to go with a slimmed down group. Right next to Johnny's Po-Boys.
Kappy: Outside of the Quarter. Would need taxis. But can really get the dance party going if the right DJ is there.
Kappy: We should go here if we want to do the live music thing. Spotted Cat, d.b.a., Three Muses, Blue Nile, and the Maison are all solid spots.
Kappy: Allegedly the best Sazerac in the city that invented the Sazerac. It would be a place to go if you want to feel classy or to realize how little class you have. Either way.
Kappy: Get the signature cocktails downstairs, Mardis Gras museum upstairs.
Kappy: Killer Mexican food, restaurant has a heavy punk vibe. Garden District was the only location around in my day.
Kappy: Cochon's sister sandwich shop. Pork belly sando is to die for. Kind of like what Publican Quality Meats is to the Publican.
