    The family and I stopped there after hiking starved rock. A local recommended it to us and I wish I could thank him because it was great! Family friendly, great food, relaxing space. Highly recommend!

    Favorite stop after a day of hiking. Nice beer selection and the food never disappoints. Best to sit at the bar, great service.

    The fried mushrooms are awesome. Enough to share with four people.:-) The steaks are thick juicy and charbroiled. No need for steak sauce. They have good beers. Just make sure you get a cold glass.

    Excellent food and accommodating service. The tavern fried chicken was perfection and the slim chicken was too good to believe. Our waitress went out of her way to accommodate our special diet.

    I would also never send my worst enemy here because then they would have a great experience and eat delicious Guinness battered cod. and exceptional service especially if Jon is there.
