St. Aloysius Gonzaga, SJ (1568-1591) Espresso Bar Blend

A determined young man, fighting sickness at an early age & giving up all of his inheritance took the Jesuit vows of Poverty & Chastity & Obedience in 1587. Four years before his death from disease, two visions from Angel Gabriel told him of his death date. Canonized a Saint in 1726, his attributes are: a lily (innocence) , a cross (piety & sacrifice) , skull (early death) & a rosary (devotion to Mary) . In honor of St. Aloysius, we have chosen a rich & hearty blend that makes for a wonderful shot of espresso or can be enjoyed as a satisfying drip coffee.

St. Francis Xavier S.J. (1506 – 1554) French Roast Blend

This tireless missionary traveled from Spain to India to Malaysia onto Moluccas, Japan & died en-route to China proclaiming the Good News of Christ. Like his strong willed way, this bold coffee blend comprises beans from Central & South America. Intensely heated & taken to a French Roast, this coffee will awake your senses w/ a smooth & satisfying finish.

St. Peter Claver SJ (1580 – 1654) All Day Blend

For forty years, this saint lived w/ the men & women who were held captive of the slave trade around Colombia. He was their friend & he ministered their human needs in an endless stream of good deeds not measured by gold & silver. In honor of his work, we have chosen this blend of mostly Colombian coffees which are noted for their sweet taste & rich aroma. This blend would be considered an all day coffee & will make your day satisfying.

St. Edmund Campion, SJ (1540 –1581) Decaf Blend

As‎ a promising scholar & much-admired educator, during Elizabethan England, this Saint could have gone onto fame & fortune. Rather, he gave his life to the Jesuits & it was that which eventually sent him to a bloody end at the hands of those who once admired him at Oxford. This decaffeinated coffee is a victorious blend of bold & smoky beans producing a robust yet smooth cup of coffee. You’ll forget it's decaf!

St. John Francis Regis SJ (1597 –1640) 50/50 Blend

This saint chose to spend the last twelve years of his young life (43) bringing the consolations of religion to the poor & broken victims of civil war in the then ravaged & devastated region of southern France. For this blend, we have chosen a perfect balance of light & dark roasted coffees from Indonesia & South America, which yields a wonderfully complex taste. This will taste well after a rich & satisfying meal.

St. Robert Bellarmine, SJ (1542 - 1621) Breakfast Blend

The author of "De Controversils", a monumental work to systematize the various controversies of the time (1576) -so immense that it made an impression throughout Europe & it has never been superseded. His work was recognized by the Holy See & because of his bright example of pastoral zeal he steadily rose through the Church hierarchy to become Cardinal. In the spirit of his prayer, his humility & poverty & his lavish charity for the poor, we have produced this Breakfast Blend, the perfect coffee to awake your senses as you "Carpe Diem".
