The breakfast sandwiches are the best but I would call ahead so you don't have to wait for them. The fresh baked breads are delicious as well as the desserts and pastries.

Breakfast sandwiches are amazing - but they only serve them until 10am on weekends bc they use carlyles kitchen. Also, during the weekday mornings, they open Carlyle for seating for bb customers.Love!

Beloved breakfast sandwiches, though I find them too salty. Best (Starbucks brand) coffee in Shirlington, paired with a biscotti and al fresco dining is perfection!

It's really all great, but top 3 picks are willingnoham breakfast sandwich, two raisin pecan bread and sticky bun. Service is outstanding and fast.

The best place in Shirlington for a quick, quality meal. The area is full of sit-down restaurants, but you can buy a sandwich here and eat it at their (short) window countertop.

Got some muffins and a cookie... even hours later, both were still fresh and tasted great!!! The waiting area at the bakery counter is kinda small, so they are relatively quick

The Carlyle next door reserves some tables and booths for customers from Best Buns if you want somewhere to sit while you eat.

Chicken salad sandwich is fantastic. Really. If the bread on any of the sandwiches is too soft, they will make your sandwich on a bread of your choice. The baguette is fan

David's Drumroll & Jen's Croissant were both tasty breakfast sandwiches. Willing-No-Ham was too salty. Wasn't impressed with their loaves of bread; Great Harvest has much better specialty breads.

There's a reason the line is so long on weekend mornings. It's worth the wait. Try the Rene's Egg & Cheese breakfast sandwich.

Long line, but the food is worth the wait. Croissant sandwich was nice and greasy and flavorful. A bit disappointed they serve Starbucks rather than a local roast.

Chocolate cupcake w/ coconut frosting is best cupcake in DC area! Chicken salad sandwich & apple monkey bread also amazing. You pretty much can't go wrong here.

Their cupcakes are heavenly too. Call ahead and they can reserve for you before they run out, especially on the weekends!

The Roasted Chicken Salad is awesome. Apparently it's he exact same salad you can get at the Carlyle but almost $5 cheaper
