Went there when my plane was cancelled, but loved the experience. Great restaurant and gym facility. Check out the pool and jacuzzi with a beautiful view to the Andes.
Biggest and cheapest hotdog in the area, great to go if you are drunk in the middle of the night.
The classic late night hotdog place in the city. It's open since the 70's, and it's a simple but delicious place. Go and try a hotdog + pureza and have a very traditional street food experience.
Very authentic Italian restaurant, but quite pricey. My recommendation is to go for lunch during weekdays (12h-17h), when they have a half price menu.
My favorite place to eat in Floripa! Self-service bakery, with a huge menu of sweet and savory options. The coffees are great and the place is very cozy. I recommend the coffee and orange cookies :)
Great place for a quick meal or beer at the city center. Their hamburgers are quite big, fresh and have a fair price. In my opinion the vegetarian options are the best, though!
Good priced chocolate and coffee. They let us stay until after the closing time to watch the game (Peru x Brazil), and the staff was really friendly. They also have a great collection of tea!
The best way to get there is on a bike trip. Just be careful with the sun, lack of water and specially the wind (it can form sandstorms quite quickly). Beautiful for the sunset!

Great place for a 20-30 minutes walk, quite romantic! It's close to bars and restaurants on the barrio lastarria. It has a few sculptures on it, so be sure to look for it :)
Beautiful historical fortress and castle in the middle of the city. It has a great view, so bring your camera. Just wait for a day with low fog, because the pollution can be really high sometimes.
Good cultural centre with expositions, movies, coffee places and shops. Before midday the expositions are free, so try to plan for that.
Huge variety of sandwiches and sauces, and greatly seasoned meat. You can easily share a plate with someone, cause the burgers are really big. Recommend strongly.
Great offer of several special drinks, that we didn't try but looked very good. We opted for an chicken with aji sauce and a rice on the side. The rice was delicious!
