- One of the easiest airports to fly in and out of. Security moves ok but if you go to the security line down a level near baggage claim there is hardly ever a wait. And they now have a Chipotle!

- Scott SMai 27, 2013New secret security line between B and C. Literally no line while the A and B lines stretched beyond the ropes in area. And no TSA or airport folks telling anyone about the secret. Now you know.
- Aasha FosterJuni 29, 2012The bathrooms are super clean! They do a great job. And they'll service it of you need them too.
- Still the best airport in the DC-Baltimore area, but baggage claim and pick up traffic issues need to be addressed.
- Try the C TSA line if you're set to leave out of A, B, or C. You may be able to get through quicker.
- Edward ChoFebruar 2, 2013Precheck is available here! Get Global Entry and speed through security for domestic flights (and speed through customs and immigration at qualifying airports when coming back to the US)!
- If you arrive Ian the evening and having a family member pick you, have them pick you up on the departure level. Much quicker.
- Tee LeeApril 2, 2013Go by Baltimore's Famous Obrycki's in the airport and try there crab cakes... You will love them... $30 but good
- Get drunk at Rams Head and make up a story to the bartender about your gf leaving and you traveling the world looking for exotic spices. This is how I know its you...
- E GNovember 26, 2013Дорога до Вашингтона занимает около часа с копейками. Бесплатный автобус довезет Вас до железной дороги, откуда можно будет добраться до центра города
- Bennett W WongSeptember 24, 2015Nice airport to fly in and out of when taking business trips or a vacation to Washington D. C. Clean facility!
- Max TejadaJuly 30, 2019Very well organized airport. It’s a joy to navigate compared to other airports I’ve been to.
- I think that's the most convenient airport of the DC area, it has Southwest (cheap flight) and good transportation, and it's not too much of a headache to get in and out.
- Alexis McCartyApril 29, 2012If you need to fill up the rental car gas tank better do it before you take the airport exit. There is none to be found anywhere near the car rental facility.
- If you are leaving someone at the airport, there are no places to eat, just a Starbucks and a Dunkin dunuts. But if you are traveling, there are more places to eat passing security.
- Margot BloomsteinApril 5, 2013Everything you've heard about the TSA security line being bad? It's worse—and likely starts down the hallway long before you even reach the corded lines.
- AlexisFebruar 3, 2012There are fresh cut flowers in the ladies room and a wine bar right next to my gate. What more could you ask for? Mani and massage. Done.
- Silver Diner is the best breakfast stop at BWI by far. It's right near the entrance to the B gates.
- Aviva GaliSeptember 18, 2012Southwest is great!! FREE bag checks & carry-ons with really friendly service & a sense of humor!!
- Terri PotterJuni 29, 2013Clean restrooms, comfortable seating and great shopping ... should you have a layover.
- If you're flying Southwest, stop at the diner in the main food court for a milkshake. They are the best!
- WenOktober 16, 2012This is a really nice airport. Clean, lots of charging stations, tons of dining options.
- Always something here. On a ground hold and it's 90 and sunny here and where we're headed. Maybe I should try and find a crab cake! Lol
- You can go through any security checkpoint to grab dinner as long as you have a boarding pass for that day. It doesn't matter what airline you're flying.
- Kim Bell-PompeySeptember 3, 2012Very nice airport, lots of food choices and excellent location, right by most gates.
- LaurenDezember 23, 2013The only place that gets me through my layover is Obrycki's. Great drinks and awesome crab cakes!
- There can be ridiculously long lines for security so I recommend arriving at least and hour and a half to two hours early
- If you need a cart, before you pay, go outside near the baggage claim area and look for an abandoned one for free. It could be your lucky day~
- Marlon AlaanMärz 25, 2015Please watch your speed on your way to the airport. Cops don't care even if you're already running late to catch your flight.
- DoubleTree by Hilton ManagerSeptember 22, 2011Keeping liquids in checked baggage is always your best bet, but if you aren’t checking luggage, predetermine how much liquid security allows and plan ahead to avoid losing your favorite shampoo!

- If you park across the airport make sure go to level 6 that will take you directly to the skywalk path.

- Tim CowanMärz 8, 2015Just FYI, there are more than one TSA screen entry points. Everyone always goes to the one closest to the check in kiosks
- Tatum VayavanandaJuly 8, 2010If you're an evening arrival, have your people pick you up upstairs at departures; Few are there that late and no one is hassling you to move your car and it's much easier to spot your pick up.
- Pro tip: there's an Au Bon Pain across from terminal a7 and a9. Best place to eat at BWI, hands down.
- Vino Volo has outlets at every wall table, and yummy Brie and prosciutto sandwiches...
- Michele HandlonMärz 27, 2011This is a pretty nice airport...it's clean and the personnel is friendly (but not TOO friendly), and food is reasonably priced.
- The cell lot is a little difficult to find but is close to the terminal.
- Jessica QuistDezember 6, 2019Apparently there is a kids play area between the D & E, but you can't access it from any other areas without leaving through security. 😠
