Hektisch und nüchtern. Unbequem für lange Wartezeiten am Gate. Man muss sich was bequemes suchen.

Der Bäcker in der Rundhalle im ersten Stock ist leider sehr teuer. 17€ für 2 Cappuccino und 2 Crossaints! Ansonsten ein sauberer und relativ gut beschilderter Flughafen mit gratis Wifi.

Die Gepäckkontrolle geht sehr flott. Kein Wunder: Es wird nur sehr oberflächlich kontrolliert.

Get a comfy seat near the CR. And order some food and ask them to fill up your water bottle. They gladly do that. Don’t buy the junk they try to push on you, sleep while you wait for your transfer.

Elegant interior design .. Quite small compared to Dubai & Doha Airports .. Well-organized .. Etihad airways is the main operator for Abu Dhabi Airport ..

If you have to stay here longer either buy a ticket to one of the Lounges in Terminal 1 (50$) or be sure to catch one of the comfortable arm chairs in the so called library right before Terminal 1

yes, toilet can be a problem here. sleep next to gate 31, toilets next to gate 32. get a blanket (free) from flight transfer desk, you just have to ask, and also the same for meal coupon.

Удобный аэропорт, есть все, что нужно в пересадке: wi-if, много розеток, шкафчик с зарядками, кафе, зоны отдыха, курилки, инфо-стенды и т.д. С каждым прилётом появляются все новые и новые объекты.

Если у вас есть между перелетими более, чем 8 часов, то компания Etihad дает бесплатный отель. Его нужно чекинить заранее, перед вылетом. В случае, если 1-й перелет сделан, вам дадут купоны на еду;)

Though the airport isn't as humongous as the DXB airport, but still has a lot of cool things to do. Most importantly WiFi is accessible to everyone.

Free but rather slow WiFi. Terminal A has a great sitting area with chargers and sockets of all kinds and chairs with leg rests. Also halal McDonald's is superior to any other, try it.

Small but nice, traveling to USA from Abu Dhabi is great idea. You can check in to USA while you are in Abu Dhabi. Very creative idea.

Nice big airport, plenty of stuff around. If flying from the Etihad terminal, just go straight to the desk, there's no split at check in for individual flights. Nearly caught us out.

Free wifi but too small a airport. Expansion is a must and soon.... Festive time & it is overflowing tbh.... Also more people to help/assist for directions wud help esp on arrival from Dubai via bus

Although it's not a new one but they really care about travelers comfort and renovation. The only annoying thing is the shuttle buses which are used mostly instead of the airplane bridge channels.

LIFEHACK! If you have a long stop and fly with Etihad go to their reception and ask for FREE blanket, toothbrush and vaucher for breakfast and dinner. That awesome.

Due to some visa issues this airport turned to be my home for almost 20 hours. It's not huge, but you can fly from here to simply everywhere. Good wifi. Lots of sleeping areas.

Beautiful airport. Really clean. A lot of the gates have lounge chairs so be sure to grab them if you are here for a long halt

If you're traveling during the Eid holiday, bear in mind that the airport is packed and there will be considerable delays before you reach your gate, so head to the gate right after checking in.

The old terminal is quaint, crowded and old fashioned in today's day and age... but there is also a certain charm to brick and mortar that glass and steel will always lack.

The wannabe DXB does a good job of it. Has free wifi, of course - just ask the many help desks located around the airport. Has all the usual options for dining.

Unlimited free WiFi! Well organised and easy to navigate. If only they had power sockets in the sitting area...sucks to sit on the floor of the corridors to charge my laptop.

For a reasonable price of $60/80 (single/double) you'll get a tiny soundproofed room with a bunk bed equipped with a normal size comfortable mattress, good pillow and a nice linen set

Small airport compared to DXB (for now), wifi speed is ok and free,e-gate system is a bit confusing, register beforehand. Prices for beverages and snacks are high 💸. Duty free on arrival is basic.

The airport is nice with appropriate facilities, however I have seen much better that this one. Nothing to die for. Oh! Did I mention that you need a jacket because you may die from freezing???

If your layover is more than 4hrs apply for a transit visa or Europeans are eligible for 30 day visit visa on arrival. Not much to do here, although there are $15 p/h sleeping pods and showers!

The duty free is really big with a wide variety of restaurants. Check Boots pharmacy they always have good offers of the vitamin supplements.
