Check what exhibits they have on regularly to absorb some quality local and international art. The attached image is from the '14 year 12 students, by a deaf student, meaning journey.

I went here during the art festival or something. It was amazing. So much activities around the outside of the museum.

Great walk-in tours everyday at 11am and 1pm. Really enjoyed their Land&People: A look at indigenous art.

free entry to all galleries in Australia.This one has some good aborigine paintings though Melbourne and Sydney have a greater range of artists

I don't get it. I'm pretty sure an art gallery should be more then dropsheets hanging on the wall and a few cabinets of sport shoes.
