This is a unionized hotel. Your stay will support good union jobs with employees that make a living wage, and don't get replaced by minimum wage workers every year as is common with Hyatt hotels.
Had a lovely four night stay. I have gold elite status and was upgraded to a suite and didn't have to ask. Friendly and helpful staff. If you have elite status Internet is free and worked great.

Jeanmarie HargraveAugust 3, 2013Difficult to find on line. It's not listed with DC hotels. Great location on the red line. Near DuPont Circle and the National Zoo. Nice hotel with a pub, restaurant and comfy bar/lounge.
Very nice breakfast buffet with friendly servers who will offer you a carry out cup for your coffee. #rpcte

I bet it was once several buildings, now joined.- Be wary if you get a room on the second floor. It may feel like a basement with a small window well overlooking a roof.

Great local food places: Open City, Hot N Juicy, and Chipotle.
Excellent service. Great hotel. Rooms are average, but good for DC standards.

When you are looking for your room on the first dloor head down from the lobby and ballrooms. They are on the Eighth floor.
Beautiful Hotel, staff is friendly, and the lobby bar is fun at night!
There are three towers. The first digit on your room number is your floor number. The second digit is your tower.

Tower rooms are nice....but a far walk fr om everything
The 12.95 internet works fine if you are watching costs.I am able to connect to work, no problem
