Ovepriced for the quality of food. The octopus was tasteless and tve pasta with broccoli was over-seasoned and bitter (possibly due to lemon zest overload)
This was our first time back after their move to their new locale - if possible the food was even better!! Amazing! No reservations? Score a seat at the bar or nearby "first come" tables.
#fabuLIST #DubiDO love the Moscow mule. made with in-house ginger syrup. Enjoyed the shrimp appetizer, bibb lettuce with homemadecroutons, and burger. DubiDONT rabbitpasta was too gamey for me
The Duck Crostone and Sushi Del Chianti al modo di Panzano are a great way to start. Parpardelle al sugo di coniglio and Lobster Ravioli were perfect. Add the Brussels Sprouts for a side.
Cant rave enough. Food is incredible. As for the no-tip hype: I have rarely had better service in all of NYC. Impeccable staff. A model for all the restaurant industry in NYC could and should be.
World class food, as always, but the new location simply can't recapture the magic and mystique of the one-of-a-kind original. This used to be City Crab, after all.
All is good. One sigh is the low pour in wine. USC has the warmth & dedicated customers to not focus on how much they save on wine with an exact 4oz pour. Food & service are always performed well.
The burger is here is shockingly good - ~8oz patty that's perfectly meaty and fatty, cooked perfectly, comes with cheese and bacon on the burger and fries on the side. Will be back for this.
The sardine app is delicious, as is the crispypolenta. Duck papardelle is perfection. Get a bottle of the union square cuvée and enjoy ALL of the bread!
