It's rated one of the “top ten museums in the U.S. for families” by AOL Travel Online, “the best museum” by Child magazine and recently USA Today named it “the best family museum in the country.”
This place is legit when it comes to learning about the Cretaceous period. There are fossils, a lab manned by paleontologists, and a dig zone that lets kids practice looking for dinosaur bones. Mehr erfahren
We could spend the whole day there and we don't have any kids. What a great way to enjoy the day and learn some unique things. The dinosaurs were my favorite.
Just bought a membership and I have to tell you. The best thing I've done in a long time. With exhibits constantly changing, your guaranteed to have a year of fun exciting new things. :))
The Take Me There: China exhibit was good and the dinosaurs (including the mummy) are incredible! We spent hours there and could have stayed even longer.
Purchase a membership & plan to go a few times per month. Visit all the exhibits on 1-2 floors each visit. Then after experiencing it all...do it again! Your kids will have fun & learn so much!

Great value. 2 adults and our 4 kids for a year for only $160.00, that would be the price of coming less than 2 times. Plus you can ride the carousel for free every time and get a museum store discoun
What a great place to take your little ones when it's so cold outside! The toddler area is great for preschoolers down to sitters/crawlers, plus they have a comfortable place to nurse. Mehr erfahren
Purchase your tickets online at least 24 hrs. before your visit and add free Planetarium tickets to your order. That way you don't have to wait in a long line.
If you're coming more than once a year, the annual membership is a good deal. If you have young children, it will probably take you more than a day to see everything.

Great interactive games and amazing new exhibits all the time. Recommend Dinosphere, Dow Agrosciences Biotech Lab, Chihuly Exhibit, and the Carousel. Follow them on twitter: @tcmindy
