During the French Revolution, here was mounted a guillotine and both King Louis XVI and Queen Marie Antoinette got their heads chopped off 😱 Now it's a nice place 😂 and the biggest square in Paris😜

Place de la Concorde is the largest square in Paris, with the oldest monument in Paris - Luxor Obelisk, multiple statues, fountains and much more to enjoy and view. Mehr erfahren

Near the Jardin Tuilleries, you can visit the Obelisk here. Great view of Obelisk, Arch du Triumph and the Lourve in one line. Hats off to French town planners and architects!

This is a gorgeous place to come in Paris (especially for a quick rest to take a break from shopping!). Come during the summer to enjoy the Ferris wheel- but watch out for bees!

One of the most beautiful squares in Paris with a 3000-years old obelisk from Luxour in the middle. From this place you can walk down the Champs-Elysées till l'Arc de Triomphe.

They charge 15 euro for the Ferris wheel and its worth the spend. Majestic views of Arc de triomphe and Eiffel. Very friendly crowd at the square.

If you are a movie fan you'll find here the fountain where Andy throws her cellphone to water in "devil wears Prada" apart from that appreciate the Egyptian obelisk (yes is original, not made)

The history of this place was gory but rich. A must-see in Paris. Spare a moment to think of the carnage in the name of revolution.

Big square, with oldest "building" in Paris - the obelisk! Also Diana with Dodi drove around it during their final journey to Ponte l Alma.

The Obelisk of Luxor and the two fountains on this place are beautiful, but the noisy car traffic steering around makes you flee.

Extremely careful of pickpockets. You can not notice the criminal. Additionally they're failing, fake police comes to you.

Watch out for the cars (thousands of them). Avoid trying to reach the obelisk, you might get run over. Nice view of the Tour Eiffel and Grand Palais
