If you like to be tempted by luscious baked goods (spicy cheese croissants?!), sit yo ass here. Otherwise solid brunch fare. Come early for a fresh-baked-warm loaf of heaven for $10 (half for $5).

Get the gin and tonic and pizza with nettles or chanterelles. Everything is so damn good. Get in when they first open, no need to be picky about when you eat, just get in when you can.

Ingredients are locally sourced to create dishes like pizza with wild mushrooms and gremolata, and swordfish with fried potatoes and romesco sauce. We’re getting hungry just thinking about it. Mehr erfahren

One of the best meals I've ever had. Squash pizza was out of this world, as was the halibut crudo. Panna cotta was sooo amazing. Just wow.

Arrive exactly when it opens to get a seat in the patio, or else sit at the bar where full menu is served. Can't go wrong with any of the pizzas or the salmon.

Oh my, the pizza is so nice. Most important: save room for dessert. I had the panna cotta and it was a jaw dropper.

I'm a glute-tard who willingly subjects herself to inevitable pain and suffering for their pizza + pasta. It's that good. Pro tip: if you love pork, you'll want anything with guanciale in it.

Absolutely everything on the menu (which changes daily) is fantastic. If you're lucky enough to come on a night they have sformata, get it. Get five. And order a vodka tonic- their tonic's house-made!

Menu changes daily. Nothing disappoints; homemade bread is great (better than Tartine's). Can't go wrong with pizza, and drinks are well-balanced.

Always love Pizzaiolo. The outside tables are phenomenal. Great cocktails and good bread. Honestly I think the pizza and the pasta are just ok.

The window for the Wild Nettle and Pecorino pie is limited, but the combination of grassy nettles with salty Pecorino and creamy, buttery, almost-nutty mozzarella is killer when it's in season. Mehr erfahren

Morning coffee service is awesome... great coffee, homemade treats and a smile. Definitely not the spot if you're in a rush, though.

Most exciting pizzas in Oakland, so two of my favorite things. Should really go on a warm summer night when they've got an outdoor movie playing on the back patio.

Pizza's are delicious but this not Burger King -- you have accept the pies as they are, you can't have them your way.

Everything is delicious here. Thanks to a friend's recommendation, I now get their tonic (no alcohol) with each meal for $4. Every time it's just a little bit different.

Technically not in SF, this is one of our top 3 pizzas in the bay. Opened by ex-Chez Panisse alums. Service is almost alarmingly attentive. Boot & Shoe is the sister restaurant but isn't as good.
