Tonight’s 5-course pairing dinner at Mercadito ($45, 8 pm) provides the opportunity to try the agave plant: mezcal. Enjoy the best dishes from Southern Mexico as well as 5 kinds of Del Maguey Mezcal. Mehr erfahren
Great food, great drinks, and the price is right. Went for brunch and will be back next week for brunch again! Service was also great and that's hard to find in Miami!
A great place to get a Mexican-fix any time of day, go for the all-you-can-drink brunch on the weekends or grab tacos and ceviche for lunch or dinner. If you want something quick go next door.
Order the traditional guacamole to start, really fresh! For your entree, try the pollo enchilado, tasty (apparently it's one of their most popular dishes).
Mas tequila por favor! Must order a margarita here or you’ll be left out! Also much on some delicious carne asada or maybe a shrimp enchilada! Mehr erfahren
The mole poblano is to die for! The carnitas are amazing and an unexpected addition to the menu. The soft tacos look small but they are filling. Staff is very knowledgeable so get their recommendation Mehr erfahren
Great quality mexican food - not remotely TexMex. I'd recommend the red snapper and shrimp ceviches and the chicken mole poblano soft tacos. Not to forget the best guacamole I've had in a long time.
*If* you like steak and eggs, have a large appetite, and want the biggest bang for the buck, get the "Estrellados y tampiqueñas". This is larger than most of the other dishes.
They have a drink called "THE HOTTEST DRINK ON EARTH" or VATO LOCO. Management makes you sign a release form before being served this lava-like libation. Call me if you do this tip. #crazyandcool
MOLE POBLANO It has plantain- need I say more? I'll probably do an early dinner here before the R.K.M & Ken-Y concert on Aug6th at Nikki Beach. Oh, if you want tickets follow @SmirnoffMiami on twitter
If you are a lover of Mexican foods, New Vista Properties suggests you to have a visit Mercadito Midtown because the restaurant is a better option for Mexican foods.
Modeled after a Mexican farmer’s market, the 95-seat restaurant will serve more than 10 different types of tacos, including chef Patricio Sandoval’s pescado taco.
Great food. But the wait staff needs to stop clearing out the table from under you the whole dinner. It's really annoying to have the bus boy all up in your business all night
This creative mexican spot's got all-u-can-eat tacos for $23 all night on Mon's, Tues-Thurs after 10pm, and Fri & Sat from 11pm to close. GO! Mehr erfahren
So you're checking-in at Mercadito... Why aren't you sitting at my bar for over 100 tequilas and mezcals + our full dinner menu? We make it rain agave!!
Must try cocktail ----> b.n.g.t.m. (Big nose goes to mexico) with Herradura Blanco & reposado, dark rum, guava, orgeat, and a touch of fire ... No really, FIRE. :)
This place is really douchey. I tried all the drinks and they all suck. The pepino el pyu smells like armpit but if they offer shots on the house then you're in for a treat!
