Noo Yawkers make lunch at Kenny & Ziggy's a standing-room-only affair, scarfing down the delicious matzo balls & the three-inch-thick pastrami deli sandwiches (with Hebrew National mustard from NY). Mehr erfahren

Yes, one of the best Jewish delis in the U.S. is in Houston. Everything is amazing here but must try the matzah ball soup, pastrami sandwich, and blintzes.

The've Beef Monument (Great Wall of Beef) sandwich made out of roast beef, turkey, tongue, salami , hot pastrami and corned beef besides 8 slices of bread. You should starve yourself for 3 days first!

The chicken Schnitzel Cutlet with mashed potatoes & Kasha Varnishkas. The chicken has a great taste, but is alittle dry, and the Kasha Varnishkas is absolutely amazing!!!!!

Love their 'mishmash' (one huge matzo ball plus one large dumpling) on the base of chicken soup, with pieces of chicken. The best medicine for cold. And their cheese blintzes are sinful and heavenly!

Reubens the size of your head. Amazing pickles. Lots of comforting Jewish favorites like matzo ball soup and corned beef and cabbage. [Eater 38 Member]

The Hungarian goulash is a hit. And the chicken soup. And the sinfully sumptuous slab of cheesecake. For four. The menu is huge! Mehr erfahren

Can't decide? Get the Mishmosh and have everything in there.  You don't have to "just" get the matzoh ball.

Jewish food in New-York style and environment. Great 'mishmash' soup (matzo ball with a huge dumpling). Love their cheese blintzes. Large portions, come hungry.

A great stab at a true NY deli -- in Houston! I had the "Swiss & Shout" which is a Rachel elsewhere. Turkey pastrami to die for. Try it!

Es un lugar excelente, la comida de primera hay un menú enorme y casi para cualquier tipo de alimentación, son rigurosos en la entrada por qué no asignan mesa hasta que no está completa la reserva

Real deal NY style/kosher eatery in Houston. Get Don't Knock it till You Try It and scrumptious Kanish. Salmon flown in from NY daily. Grab a Helva for dessert at register on your way out. Mazeltov!

World class NY deli deep in the heart of Texas, Houston anyway. Every dish is truly authentic. Save up your calories the day you eat here.

Don't forget to order the He'brew Lenny's Rye IPA beer with the rye and pastrami. It's a big beer to go with a big sandwich! L'Chaim!

HUGE portions, but they are also generous with takeout boxes. I had the lox & garlic bagel plate. Could barely finish it.

In addition to authentic kosher, also try the BLT and onion rings plate. Over 10oz of bacon cooked to perfect crisp and chewiness with rings that'll make your mama proud.

Great food! The service wasn't that good! Maybe the waitresses aren't being paid well, that's what our told us, also that nobody wants to serve the latinos, because they don't tip well, she is latina

Better than Katz's near Montrose. Larger portion (can usually share the meal), tastier, and cost just a little more. Also, way easier to park your car than Katz's.
