Todo lo que probé estuvo muy rico. Vale la pena visitarlo y aprovechar también el bar y las mesas al aire libre. Prueben la Chupacabras!

Monday’s $2 draft beer special. Can’t beat that. Not to mention the best BBQ in the city!

2nd trip. Burnt End and pork belly are musts. Rib tips good. Wings v tasty. Meat good enough to not sauce. I’d skip pastrami. Gotta try ribs and fois next time.

Brisket and Pastrami are delish 😘 it's a little loud with football etc but it's a casual spot and pretty cheap as far as good BBQ goes 🍗

The brisket was awesome, rest of the meat was relatively monotone (couldn’t differentiate the different meats by taste). But the sides !! Were excellent !

Great bbq! Get the $15.50 platter with meat, ribs and one side. Add $2 to substitute with burnt ends.

Burnt ends take the cake. Would order them in place of regular brisket next time. Slaw is good, cut very fine and vinegary, no mayo. Wings were pretty good. Would try rib tips and fois next time.

Finally someone in NYC with burnt ends and collard greens worthy of eating. John Brown Smokehouse makes this native southerner so happy.

Best BBQ ribs I had in my live. Go for pork ribs and fries, I did not like mac-and-cheese and coleslaw that much. Definitely go to this restaurant if you LOVE BBQ.

Ribs were overcooked. Pastrami was too dry. Beer was excellent. Home made beef jerky too

If Kansas City-style burnt ends, ghost pepper hot sauce and gooey, crumbly, eat-it-with-a-spoon cornbread sound good to you, get yourself to John Brown ASAP. Mehr erfahren

Choose the corn bread for the side. Moist and not dry like others and has the right bit of sweetness and amount of corn.

Be prepared to wait during peak times, but the food is excellent! The brisket, pastrami and burnt ends top my list but you really can't go wrong. Try the cornbread too! Nice beer selection in the back

Recommend splitting platters for your group - get the burnt ends, rib tips, pulled pork but skip the pastrami and brisket. Sides are solid too (I enjoy the vinegar based slaw). Great bar in the back!

The burnt ends is the BBQ you want at this LIC spot. Pair it with mac and cheese, corn bread, and some beers in their graffiti-lined backyard seating area.
