This is a "wow" place to visit more than once, to peruse & enjoy: stunning gardens, interesting architecture, great views of the coastline & spectacular art exhibits.
go on a sunny day for garden fun
The garden! Don't miss it
La galeria de exposiciones, la arquitectura del museo y la vista de L.A es espectacular, y la entrada es gratis!!!
Great view of the city and a large museum all with free admission
One of the best views of LA.
The garden was extremely relaxing. Set up reservations if you want to eat at the restaurant otherwise go to larger cafe below it for a nice meal.
Spectacular views, garden and art
Impresionists and the view of L.A
Light, Paper, Process: Reinventing Photography. April 14 – September 6, 2015.
A beautiful museum with great views of DTLA
Beautiful architecture and surrounding gardens
I felt enriched by the exhibits - particularly the paintings and home decor. Beautiful lawn and sculptures. Great view. Can go wrong. Free. $15 parking
Потрясающий вид из этого музея. Музей сделан в современном стиле. Очень понравились картины импрессионистов.
Beautiful collection and architecture
Great place for a picnic. Enjoy one of the most gorgeous views in LA
Collections and exhibits are fab but the real gem is the lawn...hike up instead of that horrendous tram wait
always a good time when you come here.. I always have a blast learning new things and its free what more can you ask for..
The gardens and views are better than the art.
Sunday Cafe and nice galleries to stroll.
Family Festival days are awesome. Come early to beat the crowds.
Tram line too long? You can walk 3/4 of a mile
Today (Sat around noon) the parking garage was completely full. Spent 25 minutes circling for a spot
If you live in LA you've been here once or five times whether it was a field trip or taking out of towns friends to come see our glorious paintings.
Trying to get someone to fall in love with you and LA at the same time? Take them here for the views and the grounds, skip the art. Worked for me.
Do yourself a favor and visit this museum while in LA. Amazing architecture views views, not to mention a great permanent collection
Although you can buy drinks just before you enter the exhibition areas, you can't actually hold the drinks once you're inside any exhibit building - so get ready to shove them in your pocket or bag!
A beautiful landmark! Van Gogh's fans, go ahead! 🎑
Such a great place for a leisurely Saturday or Sunday. Beautiful views of Los Angeles and stunning architecture is really the draw.
Este lugar tiene unas vistas increíbles y un jardín fantástico.
The garden is so relaxing after traffic on the 405.
Great, easy stop for tourists or locals. A really unique and clear view of the city plus cool art inside.
The architecture is epic, with grand modern buildings constructed of steel and concrete. The art inside the museum speaks for itself so I wont even try to explain how amazing they all are.
This may very well be my new favorite museum. The architecture is beautiful. Go before noon, beat the crowd! Cafe has delicious food if a little pricy.
Really nice to go alone so you can take your time looking at the things you want to look at.
This is a place with a view! Try the Italian Soda outside in the cart.
The views, the architecture, the light, you will forget that you wanted to see the exhibitions!
they have some really great exhibits here, watch and see what artist is coming through town
The views are great the garden is an excellent place to hang out and you have wifi and can work from here while people spotting
I love that there's an amazing view at every point, wander the grounds and take pics!
Amazing collection go out on the balcony of the west pavilion for panoramic views of the city
I learnt a lot about the campus from the Architecture tour
Amazing museum with wonderful territory
Huge art collection there!! Be prepared to spend entire day in this private owned architecture, you would love it.
