After thirty-five years, the Cask 'n Flagon still holds the heart of Boston. With its nostalgic atmosphere, incredible eats, and outstanding staff, the entire team at the Cask 'n Flagon is determined to provide you with a great experience no matter what your occasion may be.
Cask burger is the best I've ever had. Mac and cheese was to die for. So is the brisket. Extremely tender. Waitress was sweet and very attentive. Hostess situation was weird. Seat yourself or wait?
Started with the Buffalo Chicken Dip which was great. Sadly though the server forgot to ring in our order and when it finally came out it was wrong. Cancelled it and got a Fenway Frank.
Ribs, beef brisket, homemade chips, baked beans yummy. Chicken was a bit dry though. Pulled pork sandwich to. All generous portions.
Nachos are excellent, lots of beers available. If you're coming from Fenway, you'll probably want to hustle. The place gets unbelievably jammed after a game.
The hostess has major attitude problem. Wings and the potato bake were awesome. Calamari was a rip off. Lots of tv's so no matter where u sit u have a good view.
One of the best spots to hit before or after a sox game. Anybody that says the service or drinks suck clearly are not taking good care of their bartender!
Get ready for some incredibly overpriced watered down drinks! Tip: go to bleacher bar or game on for drinks then come here for the dance floor b/c the drinks suck and are overpriced!
There's a creepy guy that comes here named Mike C that aggressively hits on girls (usually underage looking ones) and makes them uncomfortable. We left one time because he wouldn't leave us alone.

Here's a tip... Remember when you pour a murphys for someone... Don't say oh shit when you see I sitting at the tap and then don't apologize when you set it on the bar.
get the cask burger (toasted pretzel roll w/ pulled pork, maple-cajun bacon, caramelized onions, vermont cheddar, friend pickle)
Hey Sox Fans, don't forget to head to the Cask today for a Kevin Youkilis Appreciation party beginning at 4:30! The Cask will be giving away a pair of Sox tickets to lucky fans too!
If you ever get a server named Jess (long, dark hair), ask for a different one... She is AWFUL! The buffacue wing are awesome though!
Good service and atmosphere for sporting events. Good wings and app deals. Terrible selection of beers on draft.
They occasionally show the UFC pay-per-view fights ($10 cover). One of only a few bars in Boston to do so.
Great local craft beer selection. Steak. Seafood and salads. Best steak tips and fish tacos anywhere.
Our resident relationship expert, Nicole "Hoopz" Alexander names this as one of the best places to meet men. Perfect for pre-gaming or hanging out post-Fenway.
Ask for brittany, she is the best. Through a double header she gave us great food and service. Awesome server!
Great beer selection, wonderful service, and the food is amazing! We went twice in our 5 day stay.
Order the triple play if you like a loaf of bread with a slice of roast beef? Ham and a chicken breast... Gross
Do not order the pasta. There are no vegetables in the pasta primavera. Actually do not order any food. Just to be safe.
If you are in a large group, make sure to mention that you want to split the check BEFORE ordering.
Need to go to the bathroom? No problem, never miss a part of the game, TVs in the extreme bathroom! Brought to you by THE EXPENDABLES opening August 13!
Under New Management! Our visit was less then pleasant... Do not order the pulled pork!!!!!
Generally shitty service, decent food, good beer. But you're not likely here for any of those, so just watch the game and quitcherbitchin'
Bartenders are nice. Hostesses suck. A lot. Should be better trained. Or in a job they are qualified for that doesn't involve people.
Head to the back room and grab two beers at a time before busy sox games. Wait at bar can be lengthy.
There is a screen in the women's bathroom by the hand dryers, along with loud over speakers so you won't miss a moment.
The Middlebrooks sandwich is great if you ask for it without the caramelized onion.
The Cask was voted best baseball bar in America by ESPN, at least according to the big ol' sign out front.
Worst bar ever. Never go here. Unless you like townies and meat heads, then you should waste your money here everyday.
Try counting the number of TVs they have in here when you're drunk. There's a ton!
You can't go wrong with the triple play! It's like nothing I've ever had before! You won't regret it!
Cask burger is ridiculous & delicious...beef, pulled pork, cheese, bacon, & fried pickle
Don't bother... Used to be one of the greatest bars... Now they are just assholes! Not worth it!
Good beer selection mostly and it's a fun overall.
Amazing DJs and dance floor is so much fun on the weekends!
Really only good for pregaming before Sox games. Try to avoid getting shanked in the bathroom during late-night drinking.
It's across the street from Fenway! Step outside and you might catch a homerun hit over the Green Monster. Go Sox!
Try the Steak Tips, they go really well with an ice cold Sam Adams.
The more you tip the bartenders, the better service you get:)
Good food. Calamari appetizers are a no-brainer here
The service here is just terrible, and the prices are higher than justifiable.
Classic spot before a Red Sox game. Get there 2 hrs before a game to get a seat
Great burger ... Not a bad location either ;)
Try the spinach and artichoke dip, it is the best I've ever had!
Middlebrooks sandwich is pretty good -- big enough for two
