Ein weiteres Highlight der Stadt. Ein Besuch lohnt sich, am besten direkt am frühen Morgen. Mittags wird es voll.

Some people have added photos here of the Matthias church ... It's a separate building about a ten minute walk away. It's not the castle. The castle is the building with the blue dome.

You can walk up but there is also a cable car to the right hand side as you look at the building opposite the bridge. Lovely views and they had a palinka and whiskey festival at the top. Extra cost.

Don't miss the World Heritage-listed Royal Palace and Castle Hill. Home to the Hungarian National Gallery, the Budapest History Museum, famous Fishermen's Bastion, tiled roof of the Matthias Church.

Şehir ayaklarınızın altında, manzarası için bile çıkılır. Aslanlı köprünün dibinden ya yürüyerek ya da finikülerle çıkabilirsiniz.

Beautiful castle - a mixture of different architecture. You can still see some of the medieval castle through the history museum part.

Very pretty with great views of Danube and Pest. Museum is closed on Monday’s. Take the Funicular from the base of the castle to the top. Cool little ride.

Save some money and do not take funicular nor castle buses to get to the top - it's just so easy to walk to the left of funicular (slight elevation) and take the free elevator to the top.

I guess my fav place in the city. Perfect for walking - if you don't mind walking a lot - and have plenty of spare time. Totally worth the visit, the view is stunning!

Grand and huge. A short walk from Fisherman's bastion. If you are coming from Clark Adam Tér then a short climb or take the lifts. Avoid the funicular. See the royal guard on horses.

A beautiful site, but don't waste your time and money to go inside or eat at the onsite restaurants. Best move: go in the morning or after lunch time, late in the afternoon.

A must see of this city... Prices can be a little high, so make sure to eat beforehand, or better yet, bring a picnic to enjoy as you overlook the entire city of Pest..!
