If you're travelling to Blenheim Palace the cheapest ticket (all included palace, gardens etc) is bought on the S3 bus £16.90 + £6.10 for return trip in bus. Tourist Office is £19.90 for palace
If you've got a wait at Oxford wear warm clothes. All the seats are cold metal and even on a mild day it feels chilly. My preferred spot is the sheltered side of the vending machine on platform 3!
The 9:01 is the first off peak train to London but you'll probably have to search for London ticketd on the machine because its often not listed on the main screen before 9
