The homemaderoast beef Po-boy paired with the creole gumbo was delicious, definitely coming back again. Just one problem and that is parking if you are coming for lunch time.
The intercom parking lot announcement that's on a permanent loop is annoying and a little overkill, but just go in, order your food to go or eat in and enjoy.
The Ray Ray is one of the best po-boys in the city. Absolutely delicious. The baked beans are tangy and garlicky, with big chunks of sausage. The BayouBrisket po-boy is very good.
Our food writers called this the best hot sausage po-boy in #NOLA. check out the full review here: http://www.offbeat.com/2011/03/01/dining-out-sammys-deli-2/
Hard to go wrong here. Buddy of mine swears by their grilled chicken. Any of their BBQ is good. Shrimp po-boy is killer. Watch out for crowds because they ruin the service if you're in a hurry.
