Their sup daging is a must try! But the restaurant is quite hard to find especially for the first timers in Penang. However, it was worth the search. Recommended to all
Tried sup daging. Best! Not as thick as i expect it to be. But just nice. Boleh tambah sup (only, without the isi) for free!!!! Another sup Hameed food truck is on jalan phee choon (along jalan penang
- knows as 'Sup Hameed', this place is 'duh' place to be for Indian food. Their Oxtail & Mutton soups are to die for. And way very affordable too. Dont miss!!
..went here 'bout 5-6 years ago..accompanied school mate participatin' a contest(Nikon)..we just checked in a hotel located across this mamak joint..how awesome is that..nite time was the best wei..
Sup daging was quite good. Well spiced but not as thick as I would like it. If I remembered correctly, Pelita's also not bad but this RM4 sup daging comes with 2 slices of bread for dipping.
RM8.50 for sup kambing and roti Bengali. Mostly bones. Very diluted. Not worth it. The quality has dropped tremendously since my last visit some years ago. Restaurant hygiene is also questionable.
Came here to eat nasi kandar, the guy was about to throw the rice away since it was spoil but his colleague told him "a customer came so serve it to them." Luckily my bro understood Tamil. We left.
Sup daging was really nice. The only thing that makes me disappointed is their waiter. Super rude to me. Im just asking what people usually ordered here and he rudely reply me.
Considered a national institution, Sup Hameed specialising in... – you’ve got it – soups, from the good old variety such as mutton soup and chicken soup to the more ‘exotic’ such as gearbox soup and torpedo soup, the secret lies in the tender meats and the thick, flavourful broth.(Mehr anzeigen)
