Don't miss narrow road down for some waterfalls. Boat, proposed for us, was expensive (40 GEL) and they told you could go only 300 meters up. Water was not so clean for swiming.

Gorgeous place which is a must see if u r in Georgia. Unbelievable views and nature and lots of guest houses to stay in a cosy village. A little bit hard to get to but well worth it.
One of the most incredible place in the world. So unique and valuable. People live there like 50 years ago. You must took a car from Mestia, road is very hard and dangerous. But it's worth it!

Fortress was historic center of Meskheti region. First fortress was built in 2nd century BC and the present walls are from 14th century. Inside church was built in 10th century.

The views are fantastic on the way and there. The frescoes are stunning. The restaurant is surprisingly pretty good and inexpensive.
Road from village to church takes 2 hours. Early mornings is the best time to go there. Peaceful and calm place. If you want go up to the glacer, it's possible but it's very hard.

It's impossible to compare this garden with other I've been. Amazing sea view, a lot of trees from over the world. Clean and quiet place. Entrance cost 6 lary.

The walk is quite nice. The air is fresh and the view is breathtaking! Coming back might be a little less pleasing as you have to go up, but it's fast. Enjoyed it a lot!
Auch als Wanderung. Am Anfang nach dem Ortsausgang von Mestia au habe als Weg im Wald, dafür aber Karte und am besten GPS nötig. Später dann Straße laufen und am Ende wieder Abstecher durch Wald.
