Highest point on island. Fun to drive to if you don’t mind a bumpy ride and getting your car scratched. The moors rule.
Great place to bring piazza at sunset, sit on a lifeguard tower and watch boats coming in.
Great little park to explore and the trail is great if walking from town to Steps beach.
Good in town option for kids with a playground and food but there are much better beaches for kids like Steps or Jetty’s.
One of the best beaches on the south shore. Great place for cocktails at sunset - my family has been doing this for years.
Good selection of fish. Can be pricey but worth it. Try the bluefish when on island.
One of the best views on the whole island from the top of the steps. Great for an early morning swim and walking distance from town.
Hurry up and wait. Fast ferry is a great time saver but nothing beats top deck of the Eagle if you’ve got the time to spare.
Go early or late as line gets long. The crantucket is awesome as is the watermelon cream. And I don’t want to talk to you if you don’t get the waffle cone.
Beautiful pavilion that has neat art instillations on occasion. Worth a stop when wandering around the park.
Good place for a beer and sandwich break while indulging in overpriced bourgeois home shopping.
Beautiful music temple with lots of neat different hidden areas to explore at intermission.
Good back up option if you can’t gat a table at Atelier. Friendly staff and lots of fun to sit at the bar and watch the kitchen. Solid seafood and reasonable wine pairing.
Great contemporary museum with lots of surprises in the collection. Interestingly a large selection of 20th century German art that you don’t always see in other museums of it’s kind.
Great gallery with interesting work - always worth checking out on the way to LACMA.
