Cute little park that runs along a creek. Good place for kids even if the trail is a bit overgrown.
Even though it’s surrounded by development there are great flat trails that go thru a nice big grove of Joshua Trees. Great for kids to run around and get a taste of the desert.
Great place to park to do Cobalt Canyon trail that gives you all the views of the 5 mile Claremont wilderness trail but without the crowds.
Lots of stuff for kids to explore. Gets really loud and crowded on weekends.
Beautiful tree lined entrance to the park and SPAC. Nice walking and bike trails.
Nice views and some interesting small exhibits on the history of the area. Be sure to walk the cliffs.
Good place to check out petroglyphs on the short trail and learn about the first people’s who inhabited the valley years before.
Small site but interesting for a quick stop to better understand the history of the area.

Cool cave tours that are very easy and accessible. Certainly worth the stop if in the area.
Cute town that makes a decent base for day trips go Grand Canyon if you don’t want to stay there.
