Delicious Sicilian specialties. For those who love meat, milza is great. Insalata Siciliano and crocchette are also yummy. I enjoy street food, so this is just my style. Very reasonable prices.
Expect crowds as it is usually visited by cruise ship excursions. This jewel includes amazing Norman Byzantine mosaics. if you go Monreale is skippable.

The main cathedral in Palermo. Going up on top is def worth it and you get a great view over the city with the sea and the mountains in the background.
Macabre? Undoubtedly. But the mummies are also a fascinating chronicle of Palermo's history. (And recall their purpose: pray for the dead and remember that this world is quickly passing away.)
A great new bistro with delicious food at good prices. The calamari ripieni are very tasty and the pasta portions are big.
If you want to eat the best pizza you'll ever have don't hesitate, make a reservation and choose one of the over 50 kinds of pizzas. I would recommend a volcano pizza or one with fiori de latte

Really enjoyed the place. Came just for appetitivo (negrony was great), but stayed for the whole evening and had a dinner. Great local wines, delicious polpo.

Super friendly service, the waiter explained very carefully the food options and suggested a quite good wine(they have a huge list). Very tasty food made with fresh products.
No toilets. Bring water and food. Also you can buy panini by the entry (food truck at north gate, S.Vito Lo Capo). Do not wear flip flops.
