Huge night market that is about an hour bus ride from central Taichung. Good variety of food, clothes, and games.
Buy a bento box and some snacks to eat on the train. You can buy reserved seats which is double the price of non-reserved. Super fast. Taipei to Taichung in 45 minutes on the express.

Although the swing is cut off and the rope swing has been shorten, the view is still quite nice. I'm sure someone will bring the swing back!!!
