Great views from the deck. Not worth the monthly fee, so go as someone's guest.
Historic music venue. All shows are good because it's the FILLMORE! Catch a drink in the Poster room upstairs.
Great place for food. Pastrami, brisket and meatballs. There will be a line, but it moves quickly.
Nice place, run by a nice group of ladies. Perfect for a quiet Friday night. Good wine; eats are nothing special.
Great place to watch a film, particularly first run indie films. Beer, wine, and food, but show up about 20 minutes early to get situated at the best seats.
Hidden gem is the beer patio. Can buy in the store and drink on the deck. Perfect in front of Sharks games or other arena events just a couple of blocks away.
Solid addition to downtown Pleasanton. Noodle dishes are good, as is ithe Firecracker Chicken. Specials are usually interesting. Order a variety and share family style.
Guacamole is great for fast food restaurant. It comes free on Veggie burrito.
Best place in Terminal 8 to get in-flight meals and snacks and price is right too.
What's good here is obvious. Avoid the ATM - like most clubs, it dispenses club-only money, not U.S. currency.
Pizza by the slice there, or take home a whole pie. Not quite "New York pizza," but pretty damn close for 3,500 miles away.
Rooftop has great views of the city, particularly the Empire State Building. Nice spot to hang with friends.
Nice Italian restaurant despite being just one block east of Times Square. Great food and not so many tourists. Good service too.
A lot of great choices in terminal two, but this is my favorite. Great coffee and food. Whatever line is worth the wait.
If you like meat, and I personally don't trust people who don't, go for the Matterhorn pizza.
Live the market. A touch of San Francisco Ferry Terminal and even the market in Barcelona. All done with a Napa flair. Plenty if great eating and drinking.

Nice to break the Home Depot death grip every once in a while. Nice store, great service. Give it a try. You will be in and out before you even get to Home Depot or Lowes.
