Register your visit online to avoid the long lines. After the tour you gotta get the special Senates and House passes and check them out!

Get a free tour from the interns of your Congressman or Congresswoman. Call ahead, make the appointment, dodge the lines, walk in underground tunnels, eat in a Capitol Hill cafeteria for lunch.

Una visita muy interesante. Se accede por la planta baja y, después de ver un breve documental, se puede visitar la cripta, la rotonda y el hall de las estatuas.

Use the underground tunnel between the Capitol and the congress library. Don't need to go to an extra security check and more lines.

Tour is neat, shorter than expected. Restaurant is cafeteria, pricey by food is good. Cool looking Capitol dessert, tastes like rubber

An all-around historical and architecturally amazing building to see up-close. There were no tours the day I was there, though, so we have to go back.

Tours are available even if you didn't reserve. Visit the Senate Gallery by getting a ticket from the Senate Admissions desk. Take the tunnel to the Library of Congress to avoid doing security again.

It is the Temple of American Democracy. The people on the floors might be imperfect, but the Institution and beauty of the place will overwhelm you. Try to get tickets to a State of the Union address

Book early so you can even get in. Book earlier and you can see politics in action. You have to request access to see the actual chambers.

If you want a tour, reach out to your Congressperson and ask for an intern to show you around the House and Senate chambers. It's our building, we the people, so get to know it.
