A BCDAugust 5, 2015Old school sorta weird scene, but you don't have to stay! Get a margarita to go! They give you a foam cup so u can walk out and drink in public (illegal). McCarren Park is close so go black out there.

Whether you take those cups across the street to the park is totally up to you.- One of the classic NYC dive bar scenes that serves beer in 32oz styrofoam cups. Don't forget to take a bite out of yours to identify it later.

Apparently they've stopped selling frozen margs on Sundays. Sunday Funday won't be the same, but your boss is probably cool with that.
Lee JenningsJuni 27, 2010Ever wonder why the McCarren park garbage cans are full of white styrofoam cups on nice summer days? The Turkey's Nest margaritas & beers to go are a Williamsburg staple.
Take a half day from work....my personal excuse is "I have a dentist appointment" and then head to the nest and watch some baseball with a big beer. Cheers!
This place is not a Dive people, it's Heaven on Earth!
