- Benjamin SeebaughDezember 10, 2018it’s the diviest dive around. not typical of the surrounding williamsburg, & that’s their greatest strength. a place to begin or end the night — either way, it’s a great judgment-free zone to get lit
- Chris SsentongoJuni 19, 2018Huge doubles in styrofoam cups. This is as close to a UK pub with a New York flavour as you’re gonna get. Sleep off your drunken stupor in McCaren Park (in the summer obviously).
- A BCDAugust 5, 2015Old school sorta weird scene, but you don't have to stay! Get a margarita to go! They give you a foam cup so u can walk out and drink in public (illegal). McCarren Park is close so go black out there.
- Justin BretonMai 10, 2014This place is a total dive... But they have Big Buck Hunter in the back! Drinks (including frozen margaritas and beers) are served in styrofoam cups. 👍👍
- Christina WalthallAugust 26, 2013Huge styrofoam cups of beer, drinks with 85% alcohol content, with 15% mixer. Great vibes, great ppl, awesome dive bar!
- Emily KaneApril 18, 2015Yes. Everything is conveniently served in a giant styrofoam cup with a lid. Whether you take those cups across the street to the park is totally up to you.
- One of the classic NYC dive bar scenes that serves beer in 32oz styrofoam cups. Don't forget to take a bite out of yours to identify it later.
- My favorite bar on the city. Divey. Pool. Sports. Buck hunter. Styrofoam 32 ounce margs & beers. This is it, folks.
- Michael G.März 11, 2019$6 32oz cups of Budweiser. Unbelievably good deal. Great pregame spot before a show at Brooklyn Bowl
- Lucie PustovaFebruar 20, 2019You definitely don’t feel like you’re in prime Williamsburg anymore. Flat beer, huge styrofoam cups. They have a pool table though.
- James CSeptember 4, 2017Total dive bar but great. Atmosphere is locals. Awesome price. Styrofoam cups good time and good place.
- Tracey ChurrayAugust 18, 2015Giant beers larger than your face in styrofoam cups. Take em to the park.
- CompassJuly 24, 2013Turkey's Nest Tavern is a classic dive bar where both kickball players and bikers alike enjoy styrofoam cups full of margaritas.
- Stuart LittlewoodMai 2, 2016One of the few bars left in Williamsburg where regulars have been going for DECADES, not years. Beers are served in styrofoam cups and no one under 23 is allowed in.
- Village VoiceMärz 28, 2013Sticky floors and Styrofoam cups attest to their true dive bar status, but this no-frills slice of Bedford Avenue serves a mean absinthe margarita.
- Nate KochApril 22, 2010Perfection for a lazy summer/spring/fall day: go to Turkey's Nest and get a to-go cup of some cheap ol' American beer or a margarita. Then walk about the hood and get your buzz on on the DL. Mehr erfahren
- BoozeParty NewYorkMärz 7, 2011Hanging in the park? Grab a to-go cup full of Bud or margarita. Watch out for the coppers. Great joint to watch NY sports too. A friendly tip from BoozeParty.net
- Nate F.July 23, 2015Get their strong, cheap margaritas in styrofoam cups to bring across the street to McCarren Park.
- Jeremy BekerMai 12, 2017"Margarita" doesn't quite mean what it does elsewhere. Think more "half glass of tequila with some ice and faux citrus." But that may be what you are looking for!
- Apparently they've stopped selling frozen margs on Sundays. Sunday Funday won't be the same, but your boss is probably cool with that.
- Lee JenningsJuni 27, 2010Ever wonder why the McCarren park garbage cans are full of white styrofoam cups on nice summer days? The Turkey's Nest margaritas & beers to go are a Williamsburg staple.
- Take a half day from work....my personal excuse is "I have a dentist appointment" and then head to the nest and watch some baseball with a big beer. Cheers!
- JordanaAugust 6, 2011Lesson learned - when ordering a margarita, just get the big one. You won't regret it.
- This place is not a Dive people, it's Heaven on Earth!
- Brooks DoyneMai 24, 2011fantastic bar...cheap drinks and they are served in Styrofoam..where have you been all my life
- DebbieAugust 23, 2010best "to go" spot in town. and patty the bartender is super old school who totally rules!
