- Don't listen to other reviews. Tulcingo beats Tehuitzingo by a MILE. Tacos are just as good, plus, get their Enchiladas Combinadas and you WILL understand why Tulcingo wins.
- Serious EatsApril 20, 2013Unassuming Hell's Kitchen deli and taqueria. Great chile relleno and cheap, tasty tacos and tortas here.
- Village VoiceFebruar 23, 2011Try the cemitas-sandwiches on round seeded rolls traditionally made with cactus pulp but Sietsema's fave is milanesa res, a razor-thin beef cutlet similar to Texas chicken fried steak, only thinner.
- Jorge A. GuzmanApril 12, 2015Cool Mexican store in Hells Kitchen. They serve tacos and Mexican food in the back. Also carry Mexican beer and pulque.
- Precious PorrasOktober 7, 2013Everything we ate was DELICIOUS! The fresh guac was amazing. We had menudo & mole. Both were authentic & delicious.
- Shalini GujavartyJuni 2, 2013Fantastic chilaquiles con huevos rojas--hints of chiles & cinnamon. Come early for brunch, or all 6 tables will be occupied.
- Andrew WeiserMärz 28, 2018Check out the rolled and deep fried taco dorado, stuffed with chicken, beef, or cheese.
- Village VoiceAugust 24, 2010Try Chicken Mole Enchiladas-homemade mole on a half-chicken, or on three chicken enchiladas ($11.50), along w/ achiote rice, refried beans topped w/ crumbly cheese, & a dab of sauce-style guacamole
- Tacos here are legit... Seriously legit. Love the Pastor, love the Asada but DON'T take them to go! 5 min in the bag is all it takes to get soggy. Eat them in house or across the street at the park.
- Loren Monroe-TriceApril 5, 2010Cash only. Best Mexican in HK. Shrimp fajitas are my fav. Plenty of jumbo shrimp, I always replace rice and beans for salad which comes with nice slices of avacado. Yum.
- Jasmine ShethMärz 9, 2013Te cafe con Leches is def the best! I also love the veggie tostadas, extra spicy!
- safia rSeptember 3, 2016Looked suspiciously empty at first, but food turned out to be quite nice for a casual meal. Not fine dining! Had the enchiladas.
- You need to try the chorizo and egg tacos, and the traditional guacamole, spicy.
- great food + good spot to get a proper cafe con leche
- Tulcingo Del Valle RestaurantNovember 19, 2012Try our top seller, "Traditional Guacamole." You will not be disappointed!
- Be sure to get the fresh guacamole instead of the pureed one. They make it fresh for you. Amazing!
- Dee MacSeptember 6, 2010The chilaquiles were amazing. It's not going to get any more authentic than this here in NYC. Coming from a Mexican from Texas.
- Incredible enchiladas suizas, in a delightfully piquant green sauce
- John VaskoJuly 22, 2011
- Briana Lopez-TascarellaAugust 26, 2011Choose this place over the next door competition. Tacos kill the other place by a very similar name.
- Ken McVayJuly 8, 2010The roast pork sandwich lives up to the billing -- spicy and full of flavorful goodness.
- Payman BahmaniJuni 11, 2010Get the pozole soup if you're hungover. It's not on the menu but it's dope.
- Caroline ArrMai 6, 2013FUCKING TERRIBLE! Went here on cinco de mayo and though the service was slow, inaccurate and bad. THE WORST PART WAS SEEING A MOUSE RUN ACROSS THE WALL!! Disgusting! So unsanitary!!!
- dara lynneJanuar 25, 2014This place had so much potential until I found a hair in my taco. GROSS. Will never go back. Try Ponche instead - consistently delicious!
- The best tacos in hell's kitchen! Hands down.
