Beautiful grounds! Do most of the trails in under 3 hours of hiking, none too strenuous. Very cool nature museum too, great place for kids.

Lovely and beautiful place. Was glad to see an Arcosanti bell in the garden from my home state. Has a cool little wildlife exhibit inside and the train is really cool alongside the hiking trails.

WNC Arboretum is a lovely garden area to visit. To avoid paying the parking fee access the garden by parking at the Lake Powhatan Recreation Area Hardtimes Trailhead.

Beautiful Gardens and dog friendly, well maintained hiking trails. Lots of easily accessible spots to let the pups play in the creek!
