Specialises in game. Stuffed game heads decorate the walls. Prices not cheap but then it is a premium place. In the summer has a lovely courtyard across the road, otherwise no outside space.

The Sunday roast is fantastic!! The veg is so fresh and colourful. Just make sure you ask for extra gravy.

Andrew BollonMai 29, 2017The seasonal food is usually pretty good but the staff can be a bit slack - unfamiliar with the menu, selections not available some 30 minutes after ordering and slow service. But the beer is good!
Usually a good time there. But on April 1 2017 the pub was swarmed by very aggressive 'travellers' , they took our seats . Staff were told and did nothing. We left because we did not feel safe.
