$15/day wifi in 2016? Wha? Also you can converse with the people in the next room without even raising your voice the walls are so thin. Great bath products, style/vibe though.

If you're looking for a nice relaxing place to stay, look elsewhere! You will be disrupted by drunks wondering the hotel at nights. Rooms are tiny and outdated - don't be fooled by the modern lobby!

The Harry Potter-esque moving portraits with back-stories in the redwood-clad bar will make you keep glancing at throughout the night and interpret their gazes. Oh and the cocktails are beautiful, too

High end hookers & blow. Bouncers at the lobby & elevator on Sat. Coffee in the lobby is gone at 10am & no coffee in room. $29 OK breakfast ends early. "You don't want to know what goes on here."

As of today the Clift is no longer part of the Morgans Hotel Group....sad to see them go. Hope new Sonesta management maintains the vibe.

I love the Clift. I love all the Morgan's hotels I've stayed at. Stylish, discrete and rocking toiletries. Upgrade to a suite if you want to completely indulge yourself. Bathrooms could be more posh.

Love this place! So chic and lounge-y ;) esp on the last Thursday of every month when they have this great happy hour event called Bardot with live music and great drinks!

Don't miss out on the Room service. Particularly for breakfast. Bacon is excellent, as is the salmon and egg croissant, good coffee, etc. Service is great in everything they do.

Gorgeous and dramatic lobby, with great cocktails at the Redwood Room! That said, the rooms are small and there is a better value to hipness ratio elsewhere.

The Lobby is dope. The bathrooms in the rooms are dope. I always judge the hotel by the bathroom and these bathrooms do not disappoint. :)

Beautiful decoration. Great bar. Nearby to Union Square. The rooms are nice but the walls are too thin. Overall it is a nice place to stay.

Great hotel but be prepared for it to be noisy at night! Staff is great about keeping it down. Breakfast in the am is yummy!

2 things to ask for at check-in: 1) a room not adjacent to the service elevator; 2) a room on a high floor (b/c of creaking and street noise, respectively)

wifi in the room comes at a pretty hefty daily rate, shame. The rooms are lovely & bright but the walls are def thin. Would come again but only at competitive rates. Doesn't compare to the Sanderson.

Good rates. Cool hotel bar. However - walls and doors do a poor job of blocking outside noise. Be prepared to hear your neighbors during your stay.

Arrived post 16 hr flight, check-in chaos. Staff clueless, pre-confirmed studio suite filled. Only room left right next to service lift (noisier than a Metro!) Studio (finally) good. Doormen excellent Mehr erfahren
