The pumpkin curry garnered such a cult following since its inception on Halloween 2008 that it became a menu staple. The dish includes red curry, kabocha squash, coconut milk, chilies and lemongrass. Mehr erfahren

A flavorful, 5-6 course chef's choice prix-fixe menu, which includes his signature Pumpkin Curry and Pad See Ew noodles. Reservations fill quickly, so book ahead online, and it's BYOB for drinks. Mehr erfahren

It's simple and amazing. The menu is price fixe and they just start bringing you food and seemingly never stop-- highlights were the pumpkin curry, chicken, and mango sticky rice.

Great atmos. Food is really good, but often extraordinarily spicy. Beware, bc it's chef's choice, so you kind of have to eat it even it's so spicy that your nose runs and your heart valves seize up.

Sunday's are completely vegetarian! They keep bringing you plate after plate, it's so much food, and so delicious!

Thai X-ing is nothing short of amazing. It's a real authentic Thai experience tucked on Florida Avenue. The meal is always filling and delicious, but save room for Mango Sticky Rice!

The pumpkin curry, mango sticky rice, and papaya salad were my fav dishes. Random townhouse with old school decor but well worth it for the food. Delicious! Just remember BYOB!

Prix fixe menu, served family style with proportions depending on how many are in your party. Hands down, the most legit Thai food in US.

Hands down the best Thai resto in DC metro area! My Thai friend, who was with us, thought the same thing. The food was spectacular, authentic. Can't wait to try non-vegetarian meals next.

From Eater DC: perhaps the most well known BYOB spot in the city, customers need to make reservations in advance to enjoy the perk of BYOB

There are a lot of good Thai places in DC, but this one is best. Get the chef's daily menu and bring a nice bottle of something (and pay no corkage fee). You won't regret it!

Order the pumpkin curry. Tender kabocha squash is the sweet counterpoint to the fire and kicky basil in this traditional Thai red curry. Mehr erfahren

This is the real deal. Serves Thai food as they do in Thailand - whole fresh fish, big bowls of spicy soup in the summer, lots of lemongrass. Bring cash. Bring your own booze, not sold here.
