Get there as early as possible and head straight through the ruins to the beach. Amazing before it gets crowded.
When snorkelling, head to the cafe area under the bridge... The big fish hide there (3/4ft long) and wear flippers on the lazy river when in a rubber tube. If you fall out of the tube your screwed!!

hands down, the best restaurant in these parts. must tries: agave pork ribs. yuca a la crema on the side. a gin gin queen as your drink. bring lots of cash.

Fried lobster was excellent but I would forego the fried fish for something else. Surroundings are amazing and perfect for snorkelling
good spot on the beach for brunch of lunch. great views and good grub. if you are biking to and from the ruins a good stop on the way back.
Friendly staff and really delicious food. Be ready for get bitten by insects while you are enjoying your dish :) also don’t forget to get cash with you because they don’t accept cards :/

Very nice staff, great food (had breakfast here a couple of times). Treat yourself to a breakfast burrito or granola - the juices are fabulous also.
Great place to snag some tacos/beers for the line at Hartwood. (The hotel probably won't let you cut through the courtyard, so enter on the south side of the property through the black gate)
Some if the best ceviche I've ever tasted, served in huge portions at moderate prices. The chips are also dangerously tasty. They served the chips with a garnish of shark meat!
Definitely insist on dining on the beach area, its a great experience to eat with the sand under your feet!
We went back a 2nd time to see what new flavors they had since they change daily. Glad we did! Literally everything here is good. The pizza, cookies, fresh waters/juices, ice cream obviously.
