- One of the best bars in the city to watch USA soccer matches. (or really any World Cup matches for that matter)
- Sasha (the waitress) was extreamly nice and helpful! ... also the mac and cheese was delicious! Overall a great place to get some beers, eat some grub, and watch sports. Super friendly staff.
- Great place to watch any US soccer game rocking a #sickkit. Energetic crowd but not packed in like sardines. Good option if Nevada Smiths is packed. And if you see Abe, tell 'em to take off the hat.
- Fun bar. Watch out for the good deals on oysters or wings. Nice to sit outside for a boozy pub lunch. Irish bartender very friendly, Irish barmaid has attitude, but not enough to ruin the experience!
- Great spot to snag a drink at the very long bar. A couple of patio seats, a couple of window seats and plenty of space to hang in the back.
- MetroFocusJanuar 30, 2012A great boffice (bar+office=boffice) location. Come for the boffice, stay for the 2-for-1 happy hour…and maybe the killer accents on Slainte’s staff. Read more about other boffices in NY on MetroFocus Mehr erfahren
- Play some sports with NYC Social, and this may be your sponsor bar after the games, and you can get some great drink specials!
- One the right day, this is a perfect bar. Great food, always showing sports. Can get rowdy (in a bad way) when the soccer crowd is in. But I'll always recommend this bar over others in the area.
- A favorite spot for late night drinks. I only come here when i can sit outside. Very chill friendly staff. Relatively inexpensive.
- Christian DickmannFebruar 6, 2017Good selection of beers, the food smelled like perfect sports bar food (I had eaten already) and the atmosphere for super bowl night was nice, even though the place wasn't packed.
- Nicole WMai 6, 2014Get the steak salad. I got the filet mignon sliders, which were totally serviceable, but my friend's streak salad blew it out of the water. If you're a dedicated carnivore, you will not be sorry.
- Great bar and close to the 6 subway train. Can get busy depending if sports games are playing that day/evening so be prepared.
- The Corcoran GroupJuly 24, 2013Not only a great authentic Irish pub, but they serve up some of the best mac and cheese around!
- David GuerrieriAugust 14, 2016Love this bar, good drink prices and delicious bar food. Wings and 1$ tacos are a must!
- David GreenbergerOktober 11, 2014Big projector screen in the back for the games, good draft list, decent (slightly expensive) burger. Good sports bar option in Soho.
- Bartenders probably aren't the first thing you'd recommend about a bar, but theirs really are some of the friendliest I've come across in NYC.
- Daniel ShawOktober 3, 2015A pretty good beer selection and a mellow vibe after work, which is hard to find in the area.
- THE WINGS!!! let's be real... All the food here is amazing and great staff 🍔🍗🍻🍴
- Great pub fare, trad session on Tuesday’s which is fun to observe 🎻
- David GuerrieriOktober 7, 2016Great bartenders! And good selection of beer. Get the 1$ tacos on Thursdays!
- Sick KitsAugust 3, 2011Amazing place to rock your sickest kits and get rowdy when the US finds the back of the net. Buffalo wings are amazing, just try to avoid a Saucy Kit.
- For each drink you order, pick a new way of saying cheers off the wall. Egészségedre!
- Fun Fact: Drinking Miller High Life makes you smarter, so be sure to order a bucket
- Always welcomes the nyc social sports leagues and the bar food always hits the spot.
- Jason StruckDezember 27, 2014Great service. Cozy place. Call me an asshole, but I was disappointed that the Guinness was so cold and fizzy.
- Yera HaJuly 24, 2014okay guys, i got the scoop- it's pronounced "slahn-cha," the Gaelic way to say cheers! 🍻
- Decent draft beer selection. The mac & cheese with bacon is great!
- Soccer bar. Get there at least an hour early if the #USMNT is playing
- Doug PetkanicsFebruar 9, 2012If you're looking to hide from the sun while you watch the game, check out Slainte. Darkest sports bar on the Bowery
- Tanya Palmer-LabeckDezember 3, 2011Fatty crappy cut of meat for the steak- which would have greatly benefited from a grill cleaning (and having more steak than fat)
- Food much improved in recent times. Great sight lines for viewing + atmosphere for big game.s
- One of the only Irish Pubs off Houlston I'll go to.
- Best soccer/sports bar in the East Village/Bowery area.
- Good wings and service. Perfect spot to watch footie or... American Football if you're so inclined.
