Friendly and helpful staff, excellent fried calamari sandwich, anchovies, roast chicken and fresh tomatoes. Even ran into the adria brothers!
Locals and tourists alike love to hang out here: the many trees provide welcome shades in the summer, and it is much quieter than the beach. The Nature Museum set in a castle is a big plus.

Great selection of plants & views of Barcelona. check out the curry bush in Australia section smells really good. Bonsai section is great. Plants not well cared for, many dying or not watered.
Well worth the short ascension: the view from the terrace is brilliant (best enjoyed w/ a beer)! The restaurant serves a correct lunch, and the entrance to the museum is free on Saturdays after 3pm.

Music depends on the DJ but the food is excellent (beach prices) and the people-watching even better. Try the quinoa salad or any of the burgers. Also, the cocktails are a huge plus.
The best rooftop pool & bar in the city. Stop there by a warm day to wind down. Great view, great service, and rather quiet even on weekends. Open to non-guests after 7:30.
This place offers a real Catalan-style food :-) Great 'torrades' and Catalan tapas. Good value for money in a charming & small restaurant. We like to bring here our foreign friends.
